8 years and holding

For our anniversary, my Mom watched the girls and John and I went to Kansas City for two nights. We stayed near the Plaza, ate delicious food, shopped, and went to two art museums. It was very fun and relaxing. We went to the Nelson Art museum pictured above, and decided to eat a piece of cake with coffee in their beautiful cafe at 2 in the afternoon. It was amazing to be on our own schedule, to dilly dally, to decide things last minute, and to take care of us.

This is from Christmas. We went to Cilla's house for Christmas dinner with lots of family. Don't we look like we were having a good time?
