Our trip to Eminence

Here we are along the banks of the Current River. We found a little spot where tadpoles and crawfish were trapped in a big puddle. It was a big hit.

We loved the swimming holes and springs of Southern Missouri so much that we wanted to show my mom, so we all went down for one night and 2 days to Eminence. We stayed in a beautiful lodge called Cedar Stone Lodge, and visited lots of little nooks along the Current and Jacks Fork Rivers. Above is Opal in the car on the way down there, doing a bit of embroidery. She is pretty good at it.

Alley Spring

We swam all morning at Rocky Falls - our new favorite swimming hole. Too bad it's 3 hours away. Gaga had the girls on rafts.
