4th of July

Our family got together for John's Grandmother's 97th birthday party in Wentzville for the 4th of July this year. It was a great family party. Beforehand, we all went to the parade in Wentzville, which was a big hit with the kids. They got more candy than at Halloween.

Opal and Iris under the flag. Opal and Iris were very interested in singing patriotic songs this 4th of July. Opal is learning the Star Spangled Banner, America the beautiful, and the Grand Ole Flag. All the classics.
