Opal's school Birthday celebration

Because Opal celebrates her birthday in the summer, her school graciously gave Opal a chance to celebrate before school lets out. Mom, Dad, and Iris got to come to school for snack time, where the children ate vegetable soup and then had apple cake with whipped cream. Opal was crowned for snack time and was sung to with candles. It was a very lovely morning for all of us.
