Garden gate campout

Okay, so these pictures are out of order, so i'll explain. Opal's school had a campout a few weekends ago. John was in charge of the bonfire - and whoa - it was a good one. Just beautiful and warm and huge.

Iris hung out with Mama most of the time. She was quite overwhelmed at first but settled in to the bustle of people after a few hours.

Both the women and men escaped from the kiddos (at separate times) to see part of the sunset off the bluffs. Just gorgeous.

Opal in her cute little hat in the morning. We had such great weather. The highs were in the low 70's and the lows were in the mid to upper 50's.

Some of the group took a hike to the creek in the morning after breakfast. This was after I had come back with Iris after leaving in the night.

Here is the group! We had such a great time. I've never camped out with so many people before and it was a blast. Opal played and played and played.
