Our friend Kartik came into town a few weeks ago, doing some bike work here in Columbia. He stayed with us for a few days and we took a hike with another friend who knew Kartik from D.C. (where he lives now). These cute kiddos are Sierra and Owen - friends with whom Opal attends school. They had found a snail.
