Yes, John and Opal spent about 4 hours in the emergency room last Sunday after Opal swallowed this thing. Swallowing was an accident - having it in her mouth was on purpose. Opal loves little things and has played with them constantly, daily for over a year now. It finally caught up to us. Our house is now void of "little things." The ER told us it was in her tummy, not lodged in her esophagus (which is what they look for in these cases). And after some heavy scares that the item may have been made out of lead, they told us to go home and look for it in her poop for the next 3-4 days. John took an identical copy of the medal to work and scanned it with his high tech lasers to see what it was made out of - mostly zinc, no lead. Well, the St. Joseph medallion arrived yesterday evening and John told Opal she would have to wear it around her neck for the next 18 years. I took a picture of it - and here it is! Now it's going in her baby book.
