The Big 29

I was very lucky to have my wonderful friend, Jana, come to visit us on my birthday. Jana lives in Ohio and drove the distance for a long weekend. She got to see the girls, play, and hang out. We had a fabulous time and I started missing her as soon as she left.

We had my birthday dinner at a local restaurant called Cafe Berlin - which boasts local fresh organic food and a play kitchen for kids. The couch in the back became a trampoline because we were the only people in the restaurant (they just opened for dinner and the word is not totally out yet. they are packed for breakfast and lunch, in case you were worried). Above are Ashley and Weyan and their kids Logan and Lexi. Logan cut Lexi's hair earlier that day, much to the delight of his parents.

Here is John, Joel, Oliver, Jeni, and Jana. Joel, Jeni, and Oliver are our beloved neighbors and friends. We see them all the time and love it. Their little boy, who Opal calls Ovler, just turned one a few months ago.
