from the past

These are two photos from the first week of April, when my dear friend Kate came to visit and stay with us. John had to go out of town for work and the thought of being home alone with these two little ones seemed a little crazy. Kate kindly took off work and came up to help me. She was beautiful with both Iris and Opal. It was so wonderful to spend such uninterrupted time together. I will cherish that week for a long time.
