Opal lives for holidays. Sometimes she randomly asks us, "Mama/Dada, what holiday is today?" So we have to tell her, "Honey, today isn't a holiday." Doesn't that sound sad - "today isn't a holiday." She loves to celebrate, have parties, and be with family. We are still hiding and finding Easter eggs in our household and there are plastic eggs and halves of plastic eggs laying all over the house. She just can't let go of Easter. She is already talking about what she wants to be for Halloween this year and the other day she told me what she wanted for Christmas. Like I said, Opal lives for the holidays.
