Golden Gate Bridge and Muir Woods

The second day in San Fran we headed out of the city to see Muir Woods. Opal was not in the mood for much of a hike, so we took turns carrying her. She did love the big trees, though. It was refreshing for all of us.

Along the way to Muir Woods we stopped to look at the Golden Gate Bridge. Now that we are home, Opal talks about this a lot. Very exclamatory statements..."The Golden Gate Bridge, Mama!"...come out of her mouth often. We get in the car and she wants to go to the golden gate. It made a very big impression on her.
