California Vacation

My Mom took Opal and I on a "Girls' Vacation" to California for a week and a half. It was a fabulous trip. Opal did quite well and loved seeing the sites. The first few days we spent in San Francisco getting adjusted to the time change and hotel life with Opal. Some moments were a bit rough. The pace of the city seemed fast and we jam packed a lot of sight seeing into 2 days. We realized quickly that going out for dinner with Opal meant she had to have a good nap in the afternoons. So we adjusted our schedule accordingly.

The weather was so nice. I don't think it topped 75 degrees. Here we are at Pier 39, the tourist destination of the sea lions lounging on the docks.

Opal looooved the trolley car rides. She was so very excited and happy and others around us caught the joy.
