Trip to Florida

Well we made it to florida once again this year and had a great time. I have decided that Florida is great in the summer. Most people like it in the winter, but you cannot enjoy all of the great amenities of florida at that time of year. We loved the ocean this time. Our first of 2 days at the beach was absolutely gorgeous. Ga-ga (Grandma Patty) took us to the beach both times. The water was crystal clear and calm. Opal could stand in water up to her chest it was so calm. Here she is showing off with a cookie in her beach chair under an umbrella. I don't know what she's doing, really.

Here we are out to dinner with my Dad and the family on his birthday. We got to watch the chef cook in front of us. Opal was a little leary about the whole thing.

Only Landis could make Opal feel better, all day long. Landis has found her next fan. Opal adored her, as in adoration.

And then there was my 10 year high school reunion. Above are Nick and Kate, two friends I have known since we were all very little. They are so cute! High school sweethearts!

And here is us, at the end of the night at a bar in Ft. Pierce called "Mother Tuckers." It is a great bar with lots of character. We had a good time throughout the weekend and enjoyed catching up with people we have not seen in quite a while.
