Messy Party

Okay, you have to view these in reverse order. The top was the end of the party and the bottom was the beginning. Above, Opal is her messiest. And she was making one last stop at the cookie station. We had a birthday party for Opal and about 6 friends. We played in flour, painted, and decorated cookies. The toddlers had a great time and we had fun watching them.

Opal sat down in the flour and kicked around, threw, and patted. Afterwards when she ran she looked like Pigpen, from Charlie Brown, because a cloud of flour followed her.

Opal's friend, Logan, was trying out Opal's new tricyle that Grandma Nina and Papa gave her.

Cousin Will had a great time at the party too, although he did not like getting too messy.

Opal had a candle in her cookie, that she decorated herself. We had to sing to her lots because she kept wanting to do it again. Why not? It was her birthday. Opal liked decorating and eating at the cookie station. Mainly she just liked eating sprinkles. She ate them right out of the sprinkle jar. Chocolate sprinkles, colored sprinkles, you name it, she likes sprinkles. They are little things that you are allowed to eat! And they're sugary! What could be better?
