Easter

Opal and her cousin, Will, got to go to Runge Nature Center with their grandmothers to learn about snails and slugs. I love this picture of the two of them.

Opal's favorite gift on Easter was her chocolate bunny lollipop - which was a total splurge, I know. But I really wanted to see what she would do. She promptly bit the head off when it emerged from the packaging. And as you can see, she thoroughly enjoyed every bite.

Later in the day, Opal is eating more of her chocolate bunny.

A cutsie tootsie easter picture of the family. It was so good to have my mom in town for a long weekend and very sad to see her go. Opal was sad too, for no one was following her around every step of the way anymore.
