Lala

Opal's new favorite person is her Aunt Landis, who she fondly refers to as Lala. Opal likes to talk about Lala aaaaaallllll the time. She can only be soothed from missing Lala by looking at pictures of her. It is very sweet, and also sad because we all miss Landis.

Opal and I traveled to Florida for a long weekend in early February. We got to see all the relatives and we got to play outside a lot. This was absolutely joyous for Opal, who loves outside but who has been stuck inside because of our cold Missouri winter. We got to watch a basketball game of Jonrobert's, visit with our dear friends Kate and Nick, who have dogs and a bird, and we got to play with all of Lala's toys. It was a great winter getaway.
