Opal really loves little things. This is Opal going through the "junk drawer" in our kitchen. Her favorite is the little box of paper clips, which then turned into the little film canister of paper clips, which then got carried around the house, distributing paper clips everywhere. John loves it when Opal plays in the "junk drawer."

Opal is discovering her world of make believe, which John and I find really exciting. The other day we washed our hands, took a bath, ran around naked, put on clothes, ate some food, and walked down the stairs - all pretend. This picture is of Opal's doing. She propped baby, Raggedy Ann, and Pooh Bear up by the window and then climbed up there herself. She was so proud of this, I had to take the picture. (If you click on this picture, it's worth it)

Opal really likes organic roasted red pepper and tomato soup. She will pick up the whole bowl and drink it, hence the tomato smile on her face.

Opal and Mama have gone to the indoor pool a few times and Opal really likes it for about 30 minutes, and then she's so cold all she can do is cling to me and shiver. One of the reasons she likes it is because of her swimsuit - which is fun to wear around the house as well.

I may not be the first to suggest it, but I think that if you start a new blog about your wee one, you should name it "Adoropal!"
Because she is. You are lucky folks!
