Christmas with the Webers and Fretwells

On December 15th, The Weber family got together with the Fretwells to have pre-Christmas, since John, Opal, and I would be in Florida for the actual "day." Here is Opal's first experience with Christmas presents. Above she is looking at a fiber optic angel. She was entranced by it.

Yes, we got Will and Opal to both look at the camera at the same time.

Opal proved proficient in unwrapping. She really tore that paper off. When she would finish, she would say "more" in sign language. She liked it. Here she is opening her most favorite present - toy pots and pans. She especially likes them with dried beans in the pots.

Will got a hold of Opal's gift and Opal is stirring some "soup" in a pan.
